Personal Retirement View

The Personal Retirement View was created to answer questions about how best to save for a secure and comfortable retirement. Everyone needs answers to the same basic questions about saving for retirement, but everyone's situation is unique -- as should be each saving strategy. What works for one person may or may not work for another.

The Personal Retirement View provides a projection of the user's retirement income from all employer-based plans. The personalized report provides an outlook on future retirement income, consolidating information obtained from each employer-based plan (including Employer Non Elective Contributions or pensions and Employee Elective Savings, such as 401(a), 457(b) or nonqualified savings), and projected Social Security (if applicable). In addition, the Personal Retirement View's interactive capabilities allow users to further customize their reports by including in their savings calculations additional funds or income from sources outside their employers.

Our Goal

The primary goal of the Personal Retirement View is to empower its users to make confident and informed decisions in saving for retirement.

The Personal Retirement View is organized into four sequential sections designed to help users understand how their retirement can be more comfortable with choices made today. The Personal Retirement View sections include the following:

  1. In the Big Picture section - Users can see what their goal should be - and if they will have enough money to retire comfortably.
  2. Your Current Position section - Consolidates Users' balances and quarterly contributions in one place! This section graphically illustrates the combined current allocation of all retirement savings accounts.
  3. The Understanding Your Retirement section - Provides specific savings metrics and allows users to interactively change several variables, demonstrating how savings and investing changes affect retirement savings. This section helps users figure out what can be done to improve their future retirement income.
  4. The Make It Happen section - Provides contact information for reference in making account changes/adjustments for a comfortable retirement.
